What is a HIP?

A HIP (Home Information Pack) is a set of documents, provided by a property seller, supplying important information about a property to a potential buyer including its’ energy efficiency, searches and proof of ownership.

What is a EPC?

An EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rates the energy efficiency of a property and its’ carbon emissions on a scale of A-G. Similar charts are now often shown on new fridges and washing machines. The Energy Performance Certificate also indicates likely fuel and energy costs and recommends methods to improve efficiency.
